A community supporter of the Fight for $15!

Wednesday, April 15th was Fight for $15 National Day of Action.  The group met at The Guild Hall before departing to 3 different locations in Rhinelander.  Before leaving for the sidewalks supporters heard from 4 speakers then received signs and buttons.

The final stop for supporters was at McDonald's on Stevens Street.  At each fast food franchise Jackie and Dean talked to the managers explaining why we were demonstrating.  All managers received business cards from the workers' rights center, NWCWP.

Jackie and Dean share a final word before ending the two and half hour demonstration for low wage earners. This was the first event organized and sponsored by the Northern Wisconsin Center for Working People.

The first stop for the community supporters of workers was along Lincoln Street in front of Hardee's and Wal-Mart.  Lots of support from drivers!
